Neil, Stand Up

Giving Thanks

November 26, 2008 · 2 Comments

Last week, we heard our new baby’s heart beat for the first time. Seeing her/him squirm around and even lift an arm was an awe-inspiring dose of reality in what has thus far been largely a conceptual endeavor. Kate, clutching her abdomen with pain and discomfort, rolls her eyes and walks away.

On the eve of tofurkey day, I am thankful for so many things. My wife, our boy, our cats, our family, our friends, our house, our president-elect, fantasy sports, redwood trees, bay area weather, the constitution, phish food and self-employment. Did I mention our baby boy?

Bodhi needs to give Ethan a jumping bean lesson! He is so good at it! Ethan just turns around in circles and smiles. 18 more days until I get to meet Bodhi Baby!!!
